Cypress, CA to Albuquerque, NM- Day 1
Ok so I'm alive and made it to Albuquerque. I left at 6:30 this morning and made it to Alb at 6:30 pm. I stopped for lunch and gas, but I literally stopped only twice. Yes twice in 12 hours. I just wanted to get here before it got dark. I only took a few pictures. I was going to try and get out and take a pic with me by each state sign, but realized that's too dangerous unless no cars are around. So I did manage to think to snap a pic of the New Mexico sign as I was driving. I'm staying at the La Quinta off of the 25. It's clean. Not great. Enjoy the pics! I'm going to eat and watch The Bachelorette. OH and I didn't think to snap pics while driving until after Flagstaff. Flagstaff is pretty, but I don't know if I would live there. And so far I would live no where along Highway 40. Tomorrow off to Texarkana!!

I can't believe you made it that far in a mere 12 hours. I must have underestimated the distance between Cypress and NM in my mind map. Glad you're safe my Ashley friend!

Oooh...so pretty! I'm glad you're taking a few photos along the way and also being safe as you go. (Silly, silly people who worry! Tee hee!) Hope today's travels treated you just as well. ENJOY every minute of your journey, girl!
