Asheville and Chapel Hill NC

If you ever get a chance to go to Asheville, NC you must take a trip to the Biltmore Estate. It's fabulous. It's the largest home in America. I can't imagine living there in the early 1900's. It would have been pretty amazing. 42 restrooms, an indoor swimming pool, a pastry kitchen and rotisserie kitchen, indoor bowling alley, tons of rooms, an amazing amount of land...truly an awesome house. I suppose when you are worth in todays standards over 900 billion though, you can afford a place like that. North Carolina is pretty. I can only imagine what it would look like in the fall. Trees painted red, gold, purple, orange and every other color. Chapel Hill so far what I have seen is a cute town. Very hippie, especially the neighboring town of Carboro. Last night Cathay, her friend Claire and I went to an Experimental Philosophy talk and then listened to an indie rock band female singer sing russian songs by an indie rock russian singer who died a while back. Quite an interesting night. I actually bought the cd. www.alinasimone.com. She's good, check her out. I'll be spending tomorrow here as well and take off on Friday the 8th for Washington DC. Not sure if I'll spend the night there or what. I want to be in Phili on Saturday and Sunday to hang out with Marie. Hopefully she's there. Then it's on to New York City. Not sure what to do about my car. Maybe leave it at the airport in long term parking for like two days and take a shuttle into the city? Not sure how that will go. I've got a little less than a month to get back around the U.S. for Esther's wedding! So I've not got much time left. I'm hoping Boston will be awesome. Who knows, maybe I'll move there and keep Esther company for a while. Alrighty, well not much more to post for now. I posted my pics on myspace. Check em out!

Peace outside-
Ash
